Before Your IV Drip Infusion
Leading up to your appointment, feel free to review our IV Therapy homepage and refresh yourself on what your infusion includes. Your appointment can last anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour, so bring the new book that has been collecting dust on your shelf or some headphones and a new podcast to help you relax. You do not need to do anything else to prepare for your treatment!
What To Expect The Day Of Treatment
On the day of your appointment, arrive at the clinic and check in with our front staff. If the IV Nook is still being prepared, browse our selection of skincare or relax in our seating area until your provider takes you back!
After your provider has introduced themselves and brought you in from the front, they will walk you to our IV Nook, where the treatment will be administered. There you will find a lush chair, some magazines and a blanket for comfort. While you are getting prepared for the infusion, talk with your provider! There’s nothing wrong with a little bit of nerves before an IV. Whether it’s the first or fifth time you are getting an IV drip treatment, it can be uncomfortable and nerve-wracking. If you want an extra layer of comfort, we offer multiple numbing solutions so you won’t feel a thing during the initial IV insertion.
As your treatment begins, utilize the time to do whatever would help you unwind best! Taking care of your mind and body at the same time will make you feel exponentially better when you walk out of the iO Clinic. Your provider will check in with you periodically to ensure you are having a comfortable experience and see if there are any other services you are interested in. If you have always been curious about a Vitamin Injection or LED light therapy, ask your provider about it! They will be able to inform you about the benefits of anything we can offer at the iO Clinic.
What To Expect After the Treatment
Once your IV Drip has been completed, your provider will painlessly remove the catheter that has been administering your treatment. Again, if you experience any anxiety about this part of the treatment, inform your provider! They will find a solution to make your entire experience pain-free and relaxing. Once the catheter is removed, your provider will inform you of any recommended aftercare procedures and walk you back to the front desk. There, you will be able to book your next appointment, purchase the skincare you need and get help with anything iO Clinic related.
When Will You Feel The Benefits of The IV Drip
Upon leaving the iO Clinic, you will already feel better. The hydration boost that comes with an IV will make you feel more refreshed and stable. Depending on the specific assortment of vitamins in your IV, the longevity of your benefits can be from one to three days. However, with consistent infusions spaced a week to two weeks apart, these benefits will last longer and become more permanent in your wellness!
